This song is based on a couple of riffs I came up with during a rehearsal with one of my first bands back in 1997, but they didn't turn into a complete song before the fall of 2010, when I suddenly came up with a couple of epic melodies that seemed to fall into place very naturally with the riffs that I had come up with so long ago. It combines my love for fast, epic, European-sounding power metal with the jazzy, fusion-inspired side of my playing in the improv section in the middle of the song. The title shall express that life itself is an adventurous journey and we never know what the next day will bring us. I always regarded that thought as quite uplifiting, life is full of chances and dreams can come true if you work hard enough for them, on the other hand it's full of risks and things could be over any day, which is why we should also learn to live for the moment as well as we can. Musically this is reflected in the positive, uplifting feeling of the song, but also in some quite unexpected changes.

where the first HG album felt like a spiritual successor to Necrophagist, I feel that TCoS is TRUE prog tech death, from the melodic clean vox down to the myriad of electric notes. Any time, any day, pop it on, I’m gonna hear it through Lovdahl, Ian

Chaque instrument joué sur les albums de Hannes est joué avec une maîtrise ahurissante ; et le pire c'est que les compos sont à tomber. Bref, d'album en album, ce projet solo est une totale réussite ! Poesy Rider
